Dear all,
The Usergroup discussed the top 5 of the USMS again and the outcome is:
*Crush cars from any city
- The Usergroup liked this idea but added something, you should be able to crush from any city when you’re in your family home town. If you’re famless you should be able to crush cars from any city.
*Annoying envelope
- The Usergroup liked the old style better, and will pass this on to the office. Note: we did change this for a reason. We like everyone to ‘read’ their messages so we won’t change this for now.
*Rankpunishment for families with a scripter in them
- The Usergroup prefered to have only the scripter being punished instead of the family as well
*Set backfire manual
- The Usergroup didn’t liked this option, there are plenty of backfires to choose from. Note: it would be too complicated to implement this, since the KA is involved here as well.
*busted refresh
- The Usergroup disapproved this idea, they thought it was just lazy not to refresh it yourself. Note: This was very hard to implement anyway, since normally we refresh when ever you do something, this would make us refresh your account while someone else would do something.

The userbase suggested these 5 ideas. The UG only liked one.
The UG is supposed to represent the userbase, looking at the approval/disapproval rate of USMS suggestions, they don\'t even represent 20% of the players.
Time to change the USMS system (make every player vote Yes/No on every suggestion, but only once) or change the people in the UG, cause this clearly isn\'t what the players want.

Also, the UG and admins barely respond to the USMS ideas in the fora made for them. So it\'s just the players discussing the ideas at hand, and don\'t really get a chance to convince UG/Omerta Crew that they like these ideas, and why, and what should be tweaked about them. At the moment we\'re just silly idiots that tell eachother how cool it would be if it would be implemented, then it finally gets into the top 5 at the USMS rankings, and then shot down like a motherfucker by the UG who clearly are losing touch with the players\' \"needs\". But hell, they have a nice ribbon on their profile, so who cares eh?!

Don\'t think it\'s just ug who get to decide. There\'s a lot the devs can\'t or won\'t do. Devs have the hard job of keeping the game balanced and up and running. If anyone wants to change things ingame, you could always apply to ug yourself to get your opinions heard. Maybe, instead of blaming UG all the time, you can blame yourself for doing nothing but complaining of what everyone else is doing, when you, yourself are doing nothing at all.

If you dont like it, dont say Boooohoooo but come with ideas to solve the problem you see.

Halve the amount the attacker fires
The same amount the attacker fires

Random
Call that plenty?
The first option is the only one I can be sure of how much I shoot (which is 0),
nr 2 3 & 4 depend on the attacker
fifth option is just random between 1 and 60k.. (Imagine: getting shot at, and just hold the trigger of your gun with a magazine of 60.000 bullets and just wait till the gun jams)
So there is only 1 option that is completely my choice.
The 5k, 10k and 20k should come back imo

well you know just as well as i know some noobs come up with the most stupid idea\'s that get approved to be in the list and even get people voting on it so i wouldnt allow alot of those suggestions.

I vote at USMS every day, I comment on several ideas even if I don\'t vote for them, just to share my opinion on it, in the hope an admin sees it. But all they see is the Donating Codes that are needed to suggest ideas. They also fail to see all the double-suggestions, there are at least 2 suggestions about adding kills to the achievements, three or four suggestions about the roulettes\' bets on numbers, etcetera etcetera. It\'s just not efficient, and if admins want to get closer to the players, like they promised in the Q&A newspost, then this is where it\'s most needed, and probably most appreciated; where user input and admins-whateveritistheydo come together. Or should, anyways. And as UG, you should try to push for the things the players want, not just give your personal opinion on things.
I bet you would like better healthcare too, lowered taxes, etc. But I don\'t see you join the goverment, do I?
All you do to influence those decisions is vote. And hope that whoever is placed to represent you does what is in the peoples\' interest. So saying I should join the usergroup if I think I can do better is sort of irrelevant.

To be honest, i love this system.
The problem here is that some of the suggestions here arent really gameplay, but interface related.
I think the usergroup should be able to have a great influence on gameplay, but the interface and back-office is something the developers are specialised in. These people know what they are doing, have been doing it for a long time and are doing a great job if i say so myself.
Now there\'s always going to be people that have complaints, which is a natural thing Oslo. However your \"under 20% of the people are given what they want\" comment is a bit weirdly calculated, since they considered every option to it\'s possibility to work and be implemented.

Oslo, I\'ve read your opinions. I haven\'t commented on them because I try not to be mean to too many ppl in one day. Just because I don\'t agree with your opinions, doesn\'t mean I need to comment on them. For once, throw out a good idea and maybe then you\'ll get a reaction. Your ideas only seem to benefit you from what i can see on the forums.
