 Spot raids

 By Bramblerose

 26/4/2012

 10:00 am

As a result of some feedback we received from players, we would like to gather some information about how we could improve the spot raids.

One of the most recently named problems is: You receive booze or narcs from your spot and your account is tired. When you sell this, for example 40 units Marihuana, you end up selling only 15 because you cannot carry any more on you.

We won’t change it to more spots per family. 3 spots can give you a big advantage per day.

So what’s next?
  • We would like your information about what you don’t like about the spots as they are currently.
  • We could like your information how we can improve these spots and make them better.
  • Anything else you want to tell us about the family spots

Thanks,
the Omerta Crew

**Everything named here will be written down and used in a further discussion. If I, Badeendje, personally say I like something does not mean it will be implemented. If you like something else, please let us know so we can use it!**

The actualy profit from these spots is when you have these in your family. You get a daily reward which can be over $200.000 for example. This pays back all lost you have when raiding it. Doesn\'t it?

No, if it was that easy we probably didn\'t change the part users losing pot here.
TB is just 100% -> If you sell it you get at least $250.000 (not counting family % now here).

If u raid 3 times each day, ur lost can easily be bigger than the 200k
I like to raid a lot since u get rp from it, but losing that much makes it really unattractive
even if u succeed, its a lost

It should be possible to loose totally nothing if u succeed

These 2 could be combined, or you lose health, or you end up in jail or a bit of both maybe. Just thinking..

How bout not only getting profit through raiding, but if it\'s a weed spot, u can possibly walk away with some weed to, if its a lawyer spot some free jail time, if it\'s a restraunt a little bit more cash, and make it harder to take over a spot object so more people become active around here...

Guess what, if it\'s to hard for people to take it over from a family...

Maybe some more pew pew around here, meaning taking an object from the Local Mob should be easier then from a gangster in a fam (rank should be applied to the spot holder as well)

It\'s good that raiding can cost a lot of health. All these people who complain about it, are looking at it from a raider\'s point of view. Make raiding really easy and/or attractive and no spot object will ever have any benefits for the family members anymore.

However, I agree that it\'s a bit stupid that you lose your B/N because your account is tired due to lackey activity.

So how to solve it? Well, first of all: get rid of tiredness. No-one wants it and there is NO good reason why it should remain.
If that\'s not going to happen (I\'m afraid that will be the case, but I would like to see a good reason for keeping it), just stop the weirdness. I mean that you have 4 narcs, sell them and you only sold 3 and one just disappeared. How does that make sense? Why was that ever introduced in the first place?

Originally tiredness was introduced to reduce excessive playing to give people who can\'t rank 24/7 a fair chance to achieve something. Now that we have lackeys, everyone DOES have that chance, so why is tiredness still there?

Raiding should give more rank progress points as benefit when the raid is successful since it ain\'t profiable in any other way, that would make the players wanting to raid more and families would also have a biger challenge to keep the spots.

You should know the actual intention of spotraids: Drain down one of the spots empty so a family won\'t gain profit.
I\'ve not seen this in the game yet.. Why wouldn\'t you try to mess with a family?

So what if the Marijuana spot changes to Cocaine? Or a random-spot which will give any of the current existing spot rewards?
